Clippers

If a horse develops a winter coat that is too thick, it can be difficult to train it. You can then choose to clip the horse. Sometimes a horse also needs to be clipped for other reasons, like summer eczema or lice. Our lighter shearers can also be used for your dog or cat!

Helpful tips:

• Always make sure the horse or other animal is cleared of sand and dust as much as possible before clipping.
  
• Spray the horse with equishine, this makes the clipping even easier.
• Always shave against the hairs!
• Make sure you put a few drops of oil on the blades every 10 minutes, this is not only for lubrication but also for cooling the blades.
