The Horseware Amigo rugs offer a very good fit and quality for a relatively low price. The Amigo Hero 6 rugs are made of 600D polyester and the Amigo Bravo 12 blankets are made of 1200D polyester and have additional features such as attachment points for a neck and liner (under rug). In addition, there are special variants available such as the XL rugs for wide horses and Amigo Plus rugs which come with a removable neck.
Horseware blankets are produced in Ireland with attention to detail and high quality materials. Horseware constantly strives to produce the best and have become a leading manufacturer.
Horseware blankets are tested for a minimum of one year before they hit the shelves, in many cases they are tested for up to three years. The blankets are also tested on a minimum of 20 horses before they hit the market.
Rambo blankets are made of ballistic nylon, a fabric first developed for bulletproof vests worn by airmen in World War II.
