The outer shell features a hard casing that optimally protects the inside of the fetlock against brushing. Additionally, the outer shell is lined with highly breathable mesh to keep the horse's legs cool and fresh.

The protector is lined with our specially developed Air Liner, a thermo-formed lining. Due to the composition of the material, the lining has optimal properties. The lining provides an extra shock-absorbing effect due to the air that accumulates in the spaces created by the composition of the material. During impact, the air is forced out through the extremely breathable lining and the ventilation holes. This provides optimal protection against shocks for your horse.

The correct closures are also extremely important. If the protector is too loose, it can cause rubbing, but if it's too tight, it can restrict blood flow. The wide double Velcro closure is very sturdy and can be fastened in the right place for a perfect fit.
