A belly flap must be connected. This is to prevent catching up during rolling/lying. The belly flap is elastic so that it always fits nicely. Should this belly flap still be too tight, there are belly flap extenders that give 12 cm extra space. Use two sets (both side 1 set) to extend the belly flap by 24 cm.
The metal version is stronger and has a rotating closure. The plastic version will break down faster if your horse does get caught in the belly flap (to prevent injury).
