The Bucas Freedom Turnout High Neck is the ideal choice for horse owners seeking to combine quality with affordability. This rug, suitable for temperatures from 8 to 14 degrees Celsius and -10 to 10 degrees for the 150-gram version, offers robust protection with its 600-denier ripstop outer fabric and is both waterproof and breathable.
The High Neck design provides additional protection for the neck, while the smooth nylon lining protects the coat from rubbing. Although it doesn't offer an option for an additional neck piece or liner, the rug provides sufficient protection in milder climates. The rug stays in place thanks to the T-hook chest closure and cross surcingles, but lacks shoulder pleats, resulting in a slightly narrower fit. Note: tail straps are not included.

Discover the perfect combination of quality, comfort, and protection with the Bucas Freedom Turnout High Neck Light. Specially designed for the conscious horse owner, this rug combines Bucas' trusted quality with an affordable price tag. Whether your horse is in the pasture or resting on a rainy day, this rug offers excellent protection in temperatures between 8 and 14 degrees Celsius or -10 to 10 degrees Celsius for the 150-gram version.
The Bucas Freedom Turnout is made with a strong 600-denier ripstop outer fabric, minimizing the chance of tears and ensuring long-term use. The waterproof and breathable fabric ensures your horse stays dry, regardless of the weather conditions.
What sets this rug apart is the High Neck design, providing extra length in the neck for more protection, essential for horses spending time in changing weather conditions. Additionally, the smooth nylon lining keeps the coat in perfect condition and reduces the risk of rubs.
Functionality goes hand in hand with comfort, as evidenced by the T-hook closure on the chest and the adjustable cross surcingles, keeping the rug in place even when your horse is active. However, this specific rug does not have shoulder pleats, resulting in a slightly narrower fit.
It's important to know that this rug is not designed for attaching a loose neck or liner. However, the protection it provides, especially with the extended neck, is often sufficient for horses in milder climates or in seasons with moderate temperatures.
