The Bucas Recuptex Therapy Mesh Cooler Limited is a unique product that uses the special Recuptex fabric. This line of Bucas Recuptex Therapy products provides preventative and therapeutic help for a wide range of medical problems. The Mesh Cooler version of the Recuptex Therapy blanket is ideal for warmer days, but can also serve excellently as an under blanket.

The material is made up of an ultrafine, stainless steel mesh that acts as a Faraday cage. It reflects the magnetic fields that are generated within the body. Retaining these magnetic fields stimulates blood circulation and oxygen supply to the body and back of the horse, reducing swelling and inflammation, and promoting faster healing.

If necessary, the blanket can be worn by your horse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we recommend gradually increasing the use of the Recuptex Therapy blanket and carefully monitoring it when it is first used. Due to the heat-producing properties of the material, the horse may sometimes sweat after prolonged use.

How do you best maintain a Recuptex Therapy blanket?

Like all other Bucas blankets, the Recuptex Therapy blanket can be cleaned following the Bucas washing instructions. Washing the Recuptex blanket does not affect the cage construction with magnetic fields (also known as the Faraday cage). The blanket continues to perform its function, even after cleaning.

Bucas washing instructions:

• Bucas products may be washed at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius.
• Do not use fabric softener.
• Never put the blanket in the dryer.
• We always recommend treating Bucas blankets with Bucas Rug Wash to retain all the features of the Bucas blanket. Regular laundry powder can, for example, damage or destroy the waterproof coating.
• Chemical cleaning is not allowed.
• Store the blanket in a dry, well-ventilated place when it is not in use.
