Cavalor Arti Matrix was developed for horses that suffer from sensitive or painful joints. It provides the horse with the necessary nutrients for healthy joints and adequate synovial fluid (joint fluid). Arti Matrix also has a strong anti-inflammatory effect. It is slightly blood‑thinning so the nutrients can penetrate the joints better. It supports the immune system.

Cavalor Arti Base contains hydrolyzed collagen, which is what joint cartilage is made of. It accounts for 50% of the production of all protein in cartilage and 85–90% of the collagen in cartilage. It also contains MSM, the organic form of sulfur, which is important for healthy muscles, joints, cartilage, bones and blood. MSM is the most absorbable form of sulfur and also has anti-inflammatory properties.
Glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid are important building blocks for the repair of ligaments, tendons, bones and the production of synovia (synovial fluid). WPI (Whey Protein Isolate) is a glutathione precursor. Glutathione is a very powerful antioxidant. Pure glutathione cannot be absorbed orally. Cavalor uses a nutrient complex called WPI that stimulates glutathione production in the body. Glutathione protects cells from degradation caused by attack from free radicals (waste products) during inflammation. Glutathione together with other antioxidants such as vitamins C and E, bioflavonoids and selenium neutralize these free radicals.
There is also a special herbal mix included which has a synergistic effect.
