Cavalor Refresh Wash
Cavalor Refresh Wash is a surprisingly refreshing shampoo. The subtle scent of Eucalyptus has an energizing effect. Ideal for a wash on a hot day or after a workout where your horse has sweated a lot. Cavalor Refresh Wash is, like the other Cavalor shampoos, pH neutral. It also contains provitamin B5 and glycerine. These ingredients ensure that the skin remains hydrated and give volume and shine to the coat.
Unlike our skin, which has a natural pH of 4.0-5.5, the optimal pH of the horse's skin is 7.0-7.4. When we use products with a low pH, such as human shampoos, the moisture is absorbed from the skin, resulting in dry, flaky skin. Bleaches have a high pH, they will absorb the natural sebum, making the skin susceptible to infection.
TIP:
Dried sweat can clog pores and trigger skin reactions. By washing your horse with Cavalor Refresh Wash after sweating, you can prevent old sweat from sticking to the hair. It also provides a refreshing and clean feeling. You shower after exercise, don't you?
Wet the horse's coat to remove loose hair and dirt. Apply Cavalor Refresh Wash directly to the coat, or add a small amount to a bucket of water and use a sponge for a refreshed, clean coat. Rinse shampoo thoroughly.
