Gel packs ideal for cold and heat therapy!

Cold therapy is one of the most effective methods for relieving pain in horses. The eArtik cooling boots can promote healing of new and old musculoskeletal injuries and also help prevent them. When a horse works hard, capillaries, tendons and ligaments expand, and when work stops, that excess flow can persist. With cold therapy, we can close the vessels and restore circulation after exercise. This is ideal in treating hematomas, sprains, injuries, and when cold application is needed.

How to use the eArtik?

Place the gelatin bags or the entire pack in the freezer for at least 2 hours. If necessary, remove them from the freezer, put them in the bags of the eArtik boots and apply them to the horse's legs. It is recommended not to perform the therapy for more than 20 minutes. The eArtik gelatin pouches can also be used for hot treatment if needed. Put the gelatin pouches in the microwave at 650W for up to 1 minute. Take them out and apply where needed.
