The Heatsense Massage Pad offers several choices, including heat and three different intensities of massage. With six massage motors evenly distributed throughout the pad, the pad conforms to the contours of the horse's back and provides 90 inches of coverage from the withers to the loins. The 30-minute program is easy to fit into your daily routine, and the battery allows you to take the pad anywhere. The set comes with one Heatsense Massage Pad, a storage bag, a Heatsense battery and a Heatsense charger, and has a two-year warranty.
Massage and heat have several benefits for your horse. Massage helps promote blood and lymph circulation, prepares muscles for work, soothes tired muscles, supports recovery after exercise and promotes relaxation. Heat helps to promote oxygen supply to muscles, relaxes muscles and increases tissue flexibility and elasticity. It is also ideal for sensitive horses who find massage too intense.
The Heatsense Massage Pad can be used for horses on stable rest to promote blood circulation, after exercise to aid recovery, before exercise as part of warm-up, after transport at a show to relax, on a rest day as part of maintenance and always as a reward.
The pad is made of polyurethane (PU) with foam padding, which makes it durable and hygienic, while also being comfortable for the horse. Heat elements are placed in the rear third of the pad, which ensures even and safe heat distribution. Sensors ensure that the horse does not overheat.
Maintenance of the Heatsense Massage Pad is simple: wipe the pad with a damp cloth. Follow the safety instructions for battery and charger care. Note: Do not use the pad on open wounds, new injuries or swelling, suspected infections, burns, deep vein thrombosis, during pregnancy, circulation problems, active bleeding, bruising or hematomas, and on bony areas. Do not apply more than one heat treatment at a time.
The high-performance Heatsense battery can deliver up to ten sessions of heat and massage therapy, equivalent to five hours of use. In cold conditions, this can reduce to eight sessions. It is recommended to disconnect the battery after each session and recharge after ten sessions to maintain the optimal temperature.
