Flex-On Helmet Armet Mixte MIPS

The ARMET cap from Flex-On is made of ultra-strong and safe material. The shell is made from shock-resistant ABS. It is lightweight, sturdy, and equipped with the safest features. The EPS lining is reinforced by a polycarbonate shell, providing maximum protection for the head. ARMET is equipped with an efficient bidirectional ventilation system, from front to back, consisting of two vents at the front/back in combination with the rest of the ventilation channels. The three-point chin strap is available in two colors, black and brown.

The visor is available in two versions: the "Angel" polo visor and the "Mixte" small visor. They are made from Zytel, a technical material that deforms without breaking upon impact. The lining is made of mesh and alcantara fabric, which is very comfortable to wear on the head. It has the L.A.C. (Liner Adjust Control) system, so every size is obtainable. The extra alcantara cushion supports your neck to distribute pressure, for a customized fit and unparalleled comfort.

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is an innovative technology that offers extra protection during a fall. The system reduces the impact of rotational forces on the brain, which lowers the risk of concussion and serious injury.

What is MIPS?
MIPS is a thin, virtually invisible layer inside the helmet. During a fall, this layer allows the helmet to move slightly relative to the head. This better absorbs harmful rotational forces instead of directly transmitting them to the brain.
