Flex-On Safe-On Junior Stirrups
The Flex-On Safe-On junior stirrups are revolutionary in terms of design, comfort, and safety. The stirrups provide good stability and ensure a correct leg position. These unique stirrups open up in the event of a fall, so the foot can never be stuck in the stirrup, and afterwards, the stirrup can be easily reassembled without the need for new parts. The stirrups offer improved technical performance through shock absorption and an ergonomic shape; the stirrup features a steel frame, making it very sturdy, but is otherwise made of Polyamide, which makes it very lightweight. The opening for the stirrup leather is not in the center, allowing for better weight distribution of the rider. The stirrup is equipped with an ultra grip footbed which is tilted 10 degrees, resulting in reduced strain on the rider's joints when combined with the elastomer shock absorbers.
The stirrups come standard with arms suitable for weights up to 45 kg. The additional supplied arms are suitable for children up to 30 kg.

The stirrup opens at the bottom in case of a fall, the flexible arm can be easily reattached afterward: With an Allen key, it is possible to loosen the screw, the arm can then be repositioned and the stirrup can be tightened again.
Flex-On has conducted research into the biomechanics of stirrups. As a result, they have been able to develop stirrups that relieve the rider's joints. They achieved this through a tilted footbed and elastomer shock absorbers under the footbed. The angled opening of the stirrup strap attachment also reduces pressure on the rider's joints.
The elastomer shock absorbers absorb vibrations and shocks so that they do not have to be absorbed by the rider's ankles and knees. Combined with the tilted footbed and the angled stirrup attachment, this makes for a very comfortable stirrup. The stirrup is particularly suitable for riders who jump a lot or ride multiple horses, but also for riders with knee or ankle problems.
