Gift Card Terms

These gift card terms supplement our General Terms and Conditions of Sale and apply to gift cards issued by HypoStore.com. By using a HypoStore.com gift card, you agree to these terms and commit to adhere to them.

Scope:

• These terms apply to all gift cards issued by HypoStore.com, including electronic and printed variants, as well as gift cards, sold both directly via HypoStore.com and by designated third parties.

Gift Card Use:

• Each gift card contains a unique code, which can be a combination of numbers, PINs, or text. Each gift card and code is issued only once.
• Keep your gift card and the code safe. No compensation is provided in case of theft, loss, or unauthorized use.
• Only original gift cards and codes are valid. Upon request, these must be presented to HypoStore.com.
• When purchasing a gift card through HypoStore.com or a third party, you must also carefully keep the receipt or invoice and present it upon request.

Redeeming:

• Add the selected products to your shopping cart and enter the gift code among the payment methods during checkout. Then enter the exact code.
• The specifications of the gift card, such as type, value, duration, expiration date, and any specific terms of use, can be found on the gift card or in the email in which the code is included.
• Gift cards are exclusively redeemable for purchases via HypoStore.com and not for orders already placed.
• A gift card or remaining value is not exchangeable for cash, and the right of withdrawal does not apply.
• The remaining value can be used for future orders and is only valid from the same account with which the gift card was originally used.

Additional Terms:

• If the order total exceeds the value of the gift card, the difference must be paid with an accepted payment method.
• In the event of a refund, the value of the gift card will be refunded to the gift card as much as possible. If necessary, the remaining amount will be refunded via the original payment method.
• Abuse, modification, or forgery of gift cards is prohibited and will result in denial of use.
• Gift cards may not be used for commercial purposes beyond the scope for which they were issued.
• Changes to these terms will be communicated via our website. By continuing to use gift cards after changes, you accept the modified terms.
• Gift cards issued as sponsorship can only be used by the winners of the respective event. In case of misuse, all gift cards in the series will be deactivated.
