Harry's Horse jointed Eggbut 18mm

The jointed eggbut has a fixed cheek piece in relation to the mouth piece, the bit offers more moderate lateral control. When pressure is placed on the reins the mouthpiece breaks at the join. This creates an angle which gives the tongue more room than with a double jointed snaffle or a straight.  

The eggbut:

The eggbut is a common multi-dicipline style of  cheekpiece. It comes in different vaiarities, like jointed, double jointed and straight. It has a fixed mouth piece wich prevents pinching  the edges of the horse mouth as is seen by a loose ring. It also offers more moderate lateral control.
