Double jointed loose ring snaffle with Comfort-Lock system. The system causes the bit to lock when counter pressure is applied. The bit then becomes similar to a rod which eliminates the nutcracker effect and causes the bit to work more on the layers rather than on the palate and tongue. The aids then become more direct. When relaxed the bit changes back into a double jointed bit.
