To support the mucous membranes & (sugar) metabolism
HELTIE horse® Triphala is a versatile herbal combination for supporting metabolism and digestion. It promotes a good acid-base balance in the stomach. Beneficial for a balanced blood sugar level during training and supports weight management.
The literal translation of triphala is 3 fruits. It comes from Ayurvedic herbal medicine and consists of 3 fruits from the Himalayan region. The fruits are: Amalaki, Bibhitaki, and Haritaki. Each of these three fruits has its own medicinal properties, but when combined, they work synergistically, meaning they enhance and complement each other. HELTIE horse Triphala contains the 3 fruits in equal proportions, according to Ayurvedic tradition. Triphala for horses is a nice addition to the diet that has a high content of vitamin C and minerals.

The fruits of triphala are ground into a powder. Many producers use a stone/mill that is made of metal. Unfortunately, much of the triphala available on the market contains these heavy metals or other impurities. Heavy metals, such as lead, are very dangerous for horses. We have every batch of triphala analyzed and have even ensured that the producer in India has the right molds for grinding the triphala. After the production of triphala, analysis for heavy metals is conducted both in India and the Netherlands. This way, we can guarantee that our HELTIE horse Triphala is of the highest possible quality and free from heavy metals.
During the production of the fruits Amalaki, Bibhitaki, and Haritaki, no pesticides or other chemicals are used. The quality of our HELTIE horse Triphala is therefore very high, ensuring that the highest possible active substances are present in the product.
