HorseFlex Green-Lipped Mussel
HorseFlex Green-lipped mussel is a supplementary feed for horses to support joints and muscles.
It contains 100% pure Green-lipped mussel powder (perna canaliculus) from New Zealand mussels, which are freeze-dried after harvesting so that all important ingredients are optimally preserved. HorseFlex Green-lipped mussel for horses is naturally rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, Furan fatty acids, Glycosaminoglycans, such as glucosamine and chondroitin. All important building blocks for bones and cartilage. As a result, Green-lipped mussel provides good support to connective tissue, tendons and cartilage. In addition, it contributes to the production of synovial fluid, which is important for maintaining supple joints. In addition to the main ingredient green-lipped mussel, this product also contains MSM and Hyaluronic acid, 2 important components for maintaining healthy cartilage.
HorseFlex Green-lipped mussel is a 100% natural product and free of added sugars, colour, fragrances and flavourings. It has a fishy smell, as you would expect from dried mussels. Because of this, your horse may first have to get used to the product. In this case, try to build up the dosage slowly or mix it with a little mash. Is your horse a difficult eater? Mix the green-lipped mussel powder with some HorseFlex Veggie Treat mix, a dash of linseed oil, and make it tastier for your horse!

Dosage
This product can easily be given over the food. You may moisten the powder so that it is not blown out of the bowl.
– Horse or pony up to 350kg – 2.5 grams / 1/2 scoop per day.
– Horse over 350kg – 5 grams / 1 scoop per day.
It can be given safely long term.
