This blanket uses the well-known and proven Recuptex fabric, this fabric contains very fine stainless steel fibres and thus creates a Faraday cage which reflects the horse's magnetic field. This stimulates the blood circulation and optimizes oxygen transport. This ensures a faster recovery and healing process.
The Kentucky Magnetic Rug Recuptex is made of a very strong fabric and can be used in both summer and winter, possibly in combination with other blankets. The blanket is ideal to lay on before or after riding, but can also be used at night. It is advisable to slowly build up the use of the blanket. Start with a maximum of one hour and slowly build it up over a number of days.

The Kentucky Recuptex leg protectors were one of the first products in the Kentucky Horsewear range. It is a very successful product with a very high customer satisfaction and therefore the Magnetic Recuptex blanket was developed.
This rug uses the same Recuptex fabric technology that has proven itself in other products.
Based on the Bekaert BEKINOX® technology, it contains the finest Inox yarn (a stainless steel fibre) woven into the fabric. It creates a Faraday cage that reflects the magnetic fields in the horse's body. Maintaining these fields stimulates blood circulation and oxygenation. It also accelerates the recovery process in a natural protective environment.
