The LeMieux Self-Cooling Saddle Pads are made with the innovative 'Feel Cool' Ice material, which has a cooling crystal kneaded into the fabric. This is activated by moisture; the more moisture, the greater the cooling effect! The crystals have incredible heat absorbing and dissipating properties that gradually absorb and wick away the horse's sweat. In extreme conditions, a reverse rapid cooling effect occurs once the sweat has been wicked away.

The carbon mesh insert on the back reduces pressure on the withers and back and allows heat to rise and escape through the top of the pad. The inner lining is made of the same self-cooling fabric as the top, which is soft and friction-free and ensures that the entire pad breathes and perspires at the same level. An ideal underlay for use in hot and humid conditions or for horses that generally sweat a lot during work.
