Myler bits give an independent lateral movement which has many advantages. A Myler bit allows you to give more effective commands in a soft way. The bits are anatomically shaped so they have a better pressure distribution in the mouth. The Myler bits give more freedom of the tongue so the horse can swallow and relax better. The metal mouthpiece with copper inlay promotes salivation. When the horse gives and relaxes, these bits will not give any pressure. A eggbut is more still in the mouth which is for many horses is a pleasant experience. The Myler bits make it possible to give independent lateral aids which is clearer for the horse.

Myler level 3 bits offer the most tongue freedom. The bits have a forward and upward curved mouthpiece with freedom of the tongue. They offer a wide variety of action to work as gently as the horse allows. Work largely with pressure on the layers; the mouthpiece rotates downwards on the layers. Level 3 is most suitable for horses that are further in training.
