Pavo 18Plus Original is a scientifically formulated muesli specifically developed for the unique nutritional needs of senior horses.
As horses age, their metabolism changes and their ability to absorb nutrients decreases. Pavo 18Plus Original supports your senior with a high content of quality proteins for muscle maintenance, added omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids for a strong immune system, and powerful antioxidants. Thanks to its versatile texture this muesli can be fed both dry and soaked (as a mash/slobber), making it the ideal choice for horses with poorer teeth.

- Muscle maintenance & Energy: Seniors have an increased need for protein and energy. This muesli is rich in essential amino acids and easily digestible fibers and fats, supporting muscle mass and helping the horse maintain optimal weight.
- Resistance & Antioxidants: Contains a powerful mix of antioxidants and added vitamin C to neutralize free radicals. This supports the immune system, which often needs extra help in older horses.
- Gut health: The high fiber content from, among other things, beet pulp and apple pulp ensures a stable gut flora and healthy digestion.
- Versatile feeding: Do you have a senior with dental problems? Pavo 18Plus Original can also be fed as a mash by mixing it with (warm) water, so chewing does not have to be a problem.
Feeding advice & Use:
- Daily dosage: 330 grams per 100 kg body weight. (Horse 600 kg: 2 kg / Pony 300 kg: 1 kg)
- Dry feeding: As a tasty muesli directly in the feed bowl.
- Wet feeding (mash): Mix 1 part 18Plus with 1 part water. Let soak for 10 minutes in warm water or 20 minutes in cold water.
- Scoop content: 1 full Pavo feed scoop contains approximately 1.0 kg.
