Pavo GastricEase is a high-quality, fiber-rich muesli specially developed for horses and ponies with a sensitive stomach that do no work or only light work.
This all-in-one solution supports healthy stomach function by effectively buffering stomach acid with calcified seaweed and protecting the stomach lining with a gel-like layer from pectins. With a very low sugar and starch content and the addition of pre- and probiotics, GastricEase not only provides gastric support but also all the daily vitamins and minerals your horse needs.
Pavo GastricEase has been extensively tested on more than 100 horses and offers a scientifically based approach for horses with sensitive stomachs. It combines high-quality fibres with innovative ingredients to bring calm and balance to the digestive system.
- Buffering Stomach Acid: Contains AveMix® Calitho (calcified seaweed) for long-lasting neutralisation of stomach acid and a high fibre content to promote saliva production through chewing.
- Protective Gel Layer: Rich in pectins from de-sugared beet pulp and apple pulp, which form a natural barrier on the sensitive gastric mucosa.
- Stress Reduction: Enriched with Sangrovit® (Macleaya extract), an ingredient that helps reduce stress, which is essential for maintaining a healthy gastric mucosa.
- Gut Balance: Contains the proven probiotic Yea Sacc® and prebiotics to stabilise the gut flora and optimise digestibility.
- Low Sugar & Starch: Prevents excessive lactic acid production in the stomach, which is crucial for horses with gastric issues.
Feeding Advice & Use:
- Daily recommendation: 250 grams per 100 kg bodyweight per day.
- Portioning: Split the daily amount into 2 to 3 portions for a continuous supportive effect.
- Scoop volume: 1 full Pavo feed scoop GastricEase contains approximately 0.9 kg.
