Puur Arthro takes the sharp edge off and gives more flexibility for animals which no longer move smoothly. 

Dosage:
1-2x daily (1ml = 20 drops)
Horse 20 - 30 drops
Dog 10 - 15 drops
Cat 5 - 10 drops

When in practice it is difficult to administer the product several times a day, one can also choose to administer once a day or once every two days. In that case, give the maximum dosage for one day. The product will be effective even then, but the reaction may take a little longer.

Maintenance dosage:
If there is improvement, you may choose to switch to a maintenance dosage. A maintenance dosage is usually half of the dosage indicated on the package. Do watch the reaction of the animal carefully when dosing this product. A higher dosage may be required in the beginning. This product can safely be given in double dosage. When improvement is noticeable, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.

Reaction:
It is possible that with some dilutions and extracts, a short-term aggravation may occur at the start of treatment. This is a sign that the animal is responding to the product. If severe aggravation is noticeable, the dosage should be halved or temporarily stopped after which it can be calmly built up again. 

Administration:
Give this product with a plastic syringe directly into the mouth, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal because the product works better when it is absorbed by the clean oral mucosa.

If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small piece of food.

In case of stiff movement, it is generally wise to walk the animal often. Especially linear movements, walking and trotting are good to keep the joints supple, and swimming is also very good for the joints. Abrupt stops and quick turns, such as when playing with other animals and throwing sticks and balls (in dogs), should be avoided. This puts too much strain on the joints.

Duration of treatment:
In an acute situation, treatment lasts a relatively short time. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. In case of improvement, continue administration of this product for several days.

In case of prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. With improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dosage. This is usually half of the indicated dosage on the package. When dosing this product, look carefully at the reaction of the animal.

This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to have a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. Thus, after the stop week the "stimulus" can be offered again. Resume treatment immediately if warranted.

Storage:
Store this product in a dry place and at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep this product out of reach of children. Avoid direct sunlight.
