PUUR Digest 600g

Puur Digest for support with flatulence or bloated stomach due to the correct ratio of fiber, intestinal bacteria and minerals. PUUR Digest is used for discomforts caused by eating foreign objects, reactions to certain nutrients or chronic abnormalities in bowel movement.

Dosage:
1-2x daily (1 scoop contains about 18 grams)

When in practice it is difficult to administer the product several times a day, one can also choose to administer it once a day or once every two days. In that case give the maximum dosage for one day. The product will be effective even then, but the reaction may take a little longer.

Maintenance dosage:
If there is improvement, you may choose to switch to a maintenance dosage. A maintenance dosage is usually half of the dosage indicated on the package. Do watch the reaction of the animal carefully when dosing this product. A higher dosage may be required in the beginning. This product can safely be given in double dosage. When improvement is noticeable, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.

Reaction:
It is possible that with some dilutions and extracts, a short-term aggravation may occur at the start of treatment. This is a sign that the animal is responding to the product. If severe aggravation is noticeable, the dosage should be halved or temporarily stopped after which it can be calmly built up again. 

Administration:
PUUR Digest can be given through the feed. Because this powder contains herbs, it is recommended to start with a small amount to let the animal get used to the taste. Moisten the powder so it is not blown out of the bowl. In case of constipation, give it with plenty of water and make sure there is always plenty of fresh drinking water available.

Where many Psyllium containing products contain the whole seeds, PUUR Digest contains only the epidermis of these seeds, in which the active ingredients (mucilage and soluble fiber) are concentrated. This product is also available in 100 gr.

Duration of treatment:
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This may vary from a few days to 3 weeks. When there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few days. In case of prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to have a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. Thus, after the stop week the "stimulus" can be offered again. Resume treatment immediately if necessary.

Every animal reacts differently to the mentioned dosage. The dosage is quite accurate, watch the behavior of the animal. If the result is insufficient, increase the dosage slowly. When the desired behavior is achieved, a maintenance dosage can be sought, slowly decreasing to about half of the indicated daily dosage.

Interaction and contraindication:
During pregnancy and lactation always apply in consultation with the attending veterinarian.

Storage:
Store this product in a dry place and at a temperature between 5-20°C. Keep this product out of reach of children. Avoid direct sunlight.
