PUUR Podo 100ml

Puur Podo for the hooves. During grazing, Puur Podo supports hot hooves. 

Dosage:
For acute use 1-3x daily (Unless otherwise prescribed by physician or therapist)
Horse 20 drops
Pony 15 drops

By preveentive use 1-2x daily
Horse 15 drops
Pony 10 drops

When in practice it is difficult to administer the product several times a day, one can also choose to administer once a day or once every two days. Give then the maximum dose for one day. The product can be used effectively even then, but the reaction may take a little longer.

Reaction:
It may be that with some dilutions and extracts, a short-term aggravation occurs at the start of treatment. This is a sign that the animal is responding to the product. If severe aggravation is noticeable, the dosage should be halved or temporarily stopped after which it can be calmly built up again. 

Administration:
Give this product with a plastic syringe directly into the mouth, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal because the product works better when it is absorbed by the clean oral mucosa.

If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small piece of treat.

Give during grazing periods during high-risk periods. For when the grass contains a high fructan content give PUUR Podo, possibly in combination with Phytonics Gluco Balance.

Duration of treatment:
In an acute situation, the duration of the treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. In case of improvement, continue the administration of this product for a few days. In case of prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

Maintenance dosage:
Upon improvement, one may choose to change to a maintenance dosage. A maintenance dosage is usually half of the indicated dosage on the package. Do watch the reaction of the animal carefully when dosing this product. A higher dosage may be required in the beginning. This product can safely be given in double dosage. When improvement is noticeable, gradually decrease the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.

This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to have a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. Thus, after the stop week, the "stimulus" can be offered again. Resume treatment immediately if necessary.

For healthy hooves, the ration should be adjusted, give good quality hay and avoid concentrate. Furthermore, relief should be provided. Putting the horse in wet sand also gives relief from the complaints. When PUUR Podo is used preventively, start in spring, 3 days before the horse is put out to pasture. It is recommended to give a course of PUUR Drainage at the same time.

Interaction and contraindication:
During pregnancy and lactation always apply in consultation with the attending veterinarian.

Storage:
Store this product in a dry place and at a temperature between 5-20°C. Keep this product out of reach of children. Avoid direct sunlight.
