MATERIALS FOR OPTIMAL SAFETY
The exterior of the Samshield Premium helmet is made of polycarbonate, a material that is also used for high-end motorcycle helmets. The helmet is covered with original Alcantara®. The inner shell is made of polystyrene with variable density that ensures better dissipation of the energy produced in a collision.
PERFECT SIZE ADJUSTMENT FOR UNMATCHED COMFORT
A thorough anthropomorphic study led to an internal shell shape with an unparalleled fitting comfort design. Available in 3 shell sizes (S, M, L). Each shell is suitable for 5-6 foam layers (liners) of different sizes on the inside for a perfect fit to the rider's head. The grid size is available from 51-61. With this system, it is also possible to track the growth of a young rider.
STABILITY
The internal comfort foam (liner) with "memory shape" ensures a constant thickness over the years of use, and the semi-flexible neck strap avoids any risk of tilting in the event of a sudden movement. This internal comfort foam is removable thanks to a much stronger clip system than the scratch/Velcro system. It can therefore be washed (max. 30 °C) and thus ensures a continuously clean helmet.
UNBELIEVABLE INTERNAL VENTILATION
The Samshield Premium helmet provides exceptional ventilation as it is equipped with two air inlets at the front. Fresh air is channeled through the entrance under the badge and the channel that is created thanks to a unique concept where the helmet does not make contact with the rider's forehead. Fresh air drives out the warm air to the openings at the back around the comfort foam (liners), making sweating impossible! This concept ensures a strong internal airflow and avoids the need for visible and ugly air inlets: equestrian elegance is maintained without compromising on technicality and comfort. Supplied with a removable and washable comfort liner on the inside (clip-system attachment) and a transport backpack.
The Premium is available with the dressage chin strap. Option: this option allows women to wear their hair in a bun without being restricted by the harness of the helmet. This chin strap is 2.5 cm shorter for more space for the hair bun.
