MATERIALS FOR OPTIMAL SAFETY
The exterior of the Samshield Shadowmatt helmet is made of polycarbonate, a material that is also used for high-end motorcycle helmets. The helmet is covered with a matte anti-scratch paint layer. The inner shell is made of polystyrene with variable density, which ensures better dissipation of the energy produced in a collision.
STABILITY
The internal comfort foam (liner) with "memory shape" ensures a constant thickness over the years of use, and the semi-flexible neck strap avoids any risk of tilting in the event of a sudden movement. This internal comfort foam is removable thanks to a much stronger clip system than the scratch/Velcro system. It can therefore be washed (max. 30 °C), ensuring a continuously clean helmet.
PERFECT SIZE ADJUSTMENT FOR UNMATCHED COMFORT
A thorough anthropomorphic study led to an inner shell shape with an unmatched fitting comfort design. Available in 3 shell sizes (S, M, L). Each shell is suitable for 5-6 foam layers (liners) of different sizes on the inside for a perfect fit to the rider's head. The grid size is available from 51-61. With this system, it is also possible to follow the growth of a young rider.
POWERFUL INTERNAL AIRFLOW
Equipped with an air intake at the front, the Shadowmatt helmet provides exceptional ventilation. Fresh air is channeled through the front access to exhausts at the back around the comfort foam, thus preventing sweating. This concept ensures a strong internal airflow and avoids the need for visible and unsightly air intakes: equestrian elegance is maintained without sacrificing technicality and comfort.
The Shadowmatt helmet is available in black, blue, and brown. It is also available with a Crystal Swarovski top, a Shimmer Leather top, or with 5 or 255 SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS.
The Shadowmatt is available with the dressage chin strap option: this option allows women to wear their hair in a bun without being restricted by the harness of the helmet. This chin strap is 2.5 cm shorter for more space for the hair bun.
