Equibiotin meets the important need for biotin, an essential H-vitamin that is only available in low concentrations in nature.
Biotin is an indispensable building block for the formation of your horse's skin and hooves.
The outer wall of the hoof becomes harder and stronger, thus less prone to damage. Equibiotin contains 2000 mg of biotin.

Equibiotin 1 kg
a high-quality biotin preparation

General:
Due to the large variation in hardness of the horn layers, the boundary areas of the hoof are particularly sensitive to damage. The significant load from the weight and movement of the horse, as well as the pressure from the ground acting on the horse's hoof, often leads to hoof problems. It has long been known that, in addition to external factors, an insufficient supply of biotin in the feed causes various hoof problems. Biotin is a water-soluble and sulfur-containing essential H vitamin that is only available in low concentrations in nature. Biotin has a wide range of metabolic functions (carbohydrate and nucleic acid metabolism, fatty acid, protein, and purine synthesis). A lack of metabolic functions has a profound impact on the animal. Chronic biotin deficiency leads to hoof and skin issues. Research has shown that by providing sufficient biotin in the feed, the outer wall of the hoof becomes harder and more resistant to external influences, while the frog becomes softer in those areas where it is desired. It is demonstrable that biotin plays an essential role in the formation of the skin and hooves. A sufficient supply of this H vitamin is of utmost importance for the quality of the hoof. Equibiotin is a complementary feed.
