This loose ring has a double jointed mouthpiece and a round middle piece that puts pressure on the tongue. Because the middle part has an angle of 45 degrees to the front, it lies friendly on the tongue and ensures a constant connection. The flatter the middle piece, the sharper the bit. A double jointed bit has the advantage that it adapts more easily to the horse's mouth than a single jointed bit.
