Sprenger Hackamore
The Hackamore is mainly used for bitless riding but can also be ridden with bit. Pressure is applied to the nose through leverage. The Hackamore also has a chin strap, which exerts pressure on the chin crests. A chin chain can also be used instead of a chin strap, a chin chain gives more pressure on the chin grooves than a chin strap and provides a sharper action.
