Betadine is a disinfectant that disinfects and cares for the most common wounds (cuts, abrasions, and burns or open blisters). Betadine kills bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Ideal for pre-operative hand washing and washing animals with very dirty fur.

For household cleaning of nails, hands, and arms, thoroughly lather with Betadine Scrub and rinse well with water
Usage advice for skin disinfection
Apply Betadine Scrub directly to the skin. Massage the scrub well in (possibly with a little extra water) so that it foams well and the color lightens. Rinse carefully with lukewarm water. Dry thoroughly, especially skin folds (such as between the toes).
Use in horses and animals
Ideal for pre-operative washing of animals
In case of infection, treat 1 to 2 times a day
It should be avoided that Betadine Scrub is applied to open wounds. Betadine Scrub contains detergents that can be cell-toxic.
