When to choose muesli or slobber
It’s essential that your horse receives enough vitamins, minerals, energy, protein, fat, and fiber every day. Often, high-quality forage alone isn’t enough to cover all these nutritional needs. Vitamins and minerals can be supplemented with a balancer, but a muesli can also provide these nutrients.
A balancer, such as OerBalans, supplies your horse exclusively with vitamins and minerals, without adding extra energy or protein. SluesliMix
SluesliMix is a mash and muesli mix in one! It is the most sober muesli in the range. It contains no added vitamins or minerals, is alfalfa-free and has a low nutritional value. This makes it ideal as a healthy extra feed. SluesliMix is very suitable for mixing supplements through or for increasing a meal consisting only of a balancer, without immediately feeding too much. Horses that need little, but still deserve a tasty treat, can enjoy SluesliMix without concern.
Young & Breed
Young & Breed is a muesli specially developed for pregnant and lactating mares, foals and young horses up to approximately three years of age. The muesli is rich in all vitamins and minerals needed by pregnant or lactating mares, foals and young horses. It contains an optimal calcium–phosphorus ratio, which is important for the development of strong bones.
